Default Road Trip - Eureka Springs No Car Pics

Wife and I took our C7 vert to Turpentine Creek Animal Sanctuary for her birthday. Stayed in the Bengal Suite. Neighbors included lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Great facility, great people. Traveled 880 miles one way from Tallahassee, Fl. Drove in the rain (first time), the car didn't melt! Although I do not care to drive it in the rain. Interstate 40 (a 4 lane interstate!) was godawful. But still no scratches, dents, or traumas.
Drive 'em, that's what they 're for.

Tim

Turpentine Creek Animal Sanctuary rescues abused and neglected animals giving them a forever home. Many are taken away from individuals and zoos that could not properly care for them, in many instances saving their lives.

Also of note, Arkansas Highway 23 aka The Pig Trail is a scenic winding road that we took into and out of Eureka Springs. Highly recommended 2 lane with some twisties and tight turns.

A day trip to Eureka Springs was part of the Corvette Museum's Museum in Motion Branson event that we attended in June. Had a great time there and would highly recommend the Museum in Motion events.

If you're interested in traveling with other Corvette lovers, we have a few more Museum in Motion trips planned for the year!
https://www.corvettemuseum.org/explore/events/

August 26-28: R&R in Roanoke at Stonewall Jackson Resort (deadline to register is Monday, July 23 at 5pm CT)
September 10-16: Pacific Coast Highway (deadline to register August 1)
September 16-22: National Parks Tour (Grand Canyon's South Rim, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Arches National Park, Glen Canyon Dam, Monument Valley, Canyonlands National Park) - deadline to register August 6
September 23-29: A 2nd round of the National Parks Tour
And then in October we do four back to back "1-Lap of Kentucky" trips... these sell out pretty quick each year. Fall color, bourbon, horses and more...
