Mirror tap install tip

The mirror tap that i ordered came with two sets of wires, one bigger than the other. I had a hard time even getting the small wires to squeeze in the tight space. I bent one of them trying to force it in with some needle nose pliers. The light bulb went off and i used a metal pick till and wedged it into the space to make room. Then the larger, thicker wires slid right in. Just thought i would share that

I go have a question for you. How fo you remove the cover cap on the mirror without damaging or scratching it?

i assume you mean the black plastic cap on the back of the mirror that exposes the wires? Mine just pulled off, just a couple clips holding it in.

Yes. Someone said to use a knife or small screwdriver but I didn't want to scratch it up. I'll try it. Thanks
