Touch up paint
i like to play around with golf carts to help our older people in the park where I live. I now am getting ready to paint a cart pearl white. So I went to order the paint same color as my wifes cadillac, all is good. Now I ask for a pint of basecoat for my 2017 vert. I not only had to give the paint code for long beach red but the clerk needed the vin number because their computer at the paint store shows 7 tints of long beach red. Then I was also informed that the tint coat had to be ordered from the factory at 190.00 a quart then the paint store could make the pearl and they have the clear.

A lot of cars have numerous variants thats normal - they are trying to give you the correct color - you can also get paint code under carpet in the back near your battery area
As for pearl its usually 3 stage - 2 base and 1 clear - good luck
