Default Starting Front Camera While Using Car Play

I plan on using Car Play which takes away the normal home screens on the display. How do you get the front curb camera display up while using Car Play? Do you have to exit Car Play first? Looking for the 2019 infotainment manual....

Thanks, David

hit the home button on the dash under the radio display, then you can access all the icons again.

While in Car Play mode, press the Home key/button (has an icon of a little house) and then on the home screen (the one with all the icons that control the infotainment system) find and press the camera icon. No need to “exit” Car Play and return to Chevrolet My Link at all.

You prolly already know that that you have to be going really slow for the camera to operate.

Agree. Pretty easy.

Roger the home button. Let’s say you are not using Car Play. I assume you have to hit the camera icon to get it to come on? In other words, it doesn’t come on automatically when under the speed limit, correct? Please forgive these simple questions. New to the C7 world. Planning to order this week :-)

It does not come on automatically. You have to press the camera icon once you are going really slow. However, if you put it into reverse, the rear camera of course activates and then if you put it back in Drive, the front ones will then activate automatically.

If I’m wrong, I’m sure someone will be along shortly to clear things up. I’m taking a break from power washing my backyard fence and this is all from memory.

And welcome to the C7 World...

You're correct, then the cameras will go off as soon as you start to accelerate. You don't have to deactivate them yourself.
