I'm sure there is already a thread on this...
I know this happens to everyone, people taking pictures of our beautiful cars, while parked, sometimes while driving. Does it ever make anyone uncomfortable, especially when you're driving and the dude next to you has his phone out the window taking pics, or riding your bumper and you can see his camera in his hands? I know I bought a car that gets a lot of attention, but it creeps me out when someone is snapping shots of the car and I'm in it lol. Throwing the gender thing out there, but as a female, maybe I feel a bit more vulnerable to people (mostly men) taking pictures. Just curious on how everyone else feels about this?
What exactly creeps you out about somebody taking a picture? Do you think somebody's stealing your soul or something? What exactly do you fear? Cause the fear seems unfounded to me.

Where does it say anything about "fear"? When some *** is on my bumper taking pictures of my car and my license plate it's a little weird. Yeah, I'm worried my soul and identity are getting stolen away, shame on me

your original post does say it creeps you out, which in some sense implies a level of fear.....
As a female, I guess that would creep you out a bit. Reminds me of a time, way way back in 1983 when I had, had it with my '79 Chevy Camaro and was head over heels for a new '84 Honda Prelude! This was a totally new and exciting body style and an overall cool and rare to my area new car. (Reagan had Import restrictions in place, and the wait to purchase one imported from Japan, with American dealer demand was an average 6 months, making them quite rare at the time!) I saw a rare new '84 Red Prelude on the road in southeast Arkansas, and I just had to get a better look, so I caught up with the car, and trailed it, paced it, and passed it trying to get looks from all angles! As different as this car was, and as beautiful as well, the young lady driving it must have known I was checking out her car ... nevertheless, .. the lady pulled out a FULL NEWSPAPER and totally enveloped herself with it while driving down the highway to get away from my eyes!!! I mean, she drove like that for a while, too! ... Dang, ..the chick was alright, ... but it was that red Prelude that I wanted!!!

I don't understand why someone would buy something flashy and attention grabbing (clothes, accessories, cars, house, giant RV, etc) and then complain when it attracts attention. As long as people are staying out of your personal space and not being unsafe, it's just part of having and displaying something nice. Especially when everyone has a camera as a permanent extension of their hand.

There are different levels of "attention". Some absolutely benign, others not so much...
After owning many Corvettes over the last 30 some years, I don't mind someone taking pictures. That is, as long as they are careful if they're driving. The one that makes me smile is the kids in the passenger seat taking pictures as Dad drives them by the car. We have to remember that we are driving a car that many want, but because of different reasons cannot own. And, that in itself draws attention.

It never bothered me if someone wanted to snap pics of my car but I can understand it possibly being a bit uncomfortable for s female.
The tint idea sound like a good one for you. It’s serves more purpose than privacy and looks great too. Win win.

I once walked to my parked C6 to find a girl in her late teens and her dad taking a picture in front of it. They were having a blast. I've received meal upgrades in my C7, asked car questions, etc. I've also found myself taking pictures of red prancing horses. Bottom line, you're making people's day!

Like stated in original post, I don't care when it's parked, I love people enjoying the car and looking at it. I agree with you
