Default Body Kit

Good morning! We recently purchased 2019 Stingray. We wanted to add the body kit and through the forum we learned about C7 Carbon. We purchased the Splitter, Side Skirts and Rear Spoiler. The parts are beautifully made. We were told by the Dealer that they could install the body kit. When we arrived since they weren't GM parts, they stated it would be a challenge. Our question is...has anyone had this issue? If so, was the work completed by the Dealer or a body shop?

Any dealership worth their weight should have ZERO problems installing these pieces for you. My Hendrick dealership in Kansas City installs aftermarket parts for me all the time! With C7Carbon, your front splitter and side skirts should already have pre-drilled holes. If they do, you could actually do them yourself. Simply unscrew the OEM bolts already on your car, line up the holes on the new pieces with the holes you just removed the screws from and put the OEM screws back!

ISpeedTuning is annoying AF...

Wont ever buy from them.

Back on topic....

Its easy to install the splitter and skirts.

The spoiler is a little more difficult.

Dont take it to a dealership unless you like getting ripped off.

dragonfly, If you have at least a hydraulic floor jack and a jack stand, you can attach the front splitter and side skirts yourself. The rear spoiler will have to be attached by drilling into the rear bumper. Source out a good mechanic or body shop for that. I hear removing the rear bumper is not very difficult. You know your skill level.
Take a pic before and after your kit. Your C7 will have a totally different look.
