52. An old friend that specializes in Corvette's picked the car up at a dealer east of us, and drove it home for me. That was just a shake down cruise in my book. Really didn't matter to me as no one has ever ask me when trading or selling how many miles were on the car when I bought it new.

Must be nice to be you.
That is a very privileged statement. While it is true for you, understand that for many, a corvette is a real sacrifice. So, not at all a casual 'disposable' thing.
But yea, I get it, you don't have that much opportunity cost associated with an expensive car. Congrats.

Oh, there's plenty of opportunity cost lost on the $68K it cost. But it's a quality of life purchase similar to a lake house expenditure. You do it because it enhances your lifestyle. Unfortunately, some enhancements have co$ts. 👍👍👍👍

45 miles. I was nice smelling the preservative oil burn off when I picked it up.
The car was on a lot for 580+ days, so it took a few test drives before I got it. I grabbed it because it was exactly what I wanted save for one cosmetic detail. Got a great deal. It's a 2017 Torch Red Grand Sport Z07 1LT with Jet Black Interior. I favor stripper down racers...........

1 mile, took it off the truck basically. Figured out pretty quickly that the dealership didn't even drive it to put gas in it because the almost empty alarm started going off almost as soon as I left the parking lot, lol. Not knowing the car well I was wondering what the hell is that alarm for?... I did tell them that I didn't want them to touch it outside of installing the splitter and side rockers but I would have been OK with them putting gas in it...

During the NCM factory tour, they explained that for quality control, 1 in X Corvettes produced is taken to a track and run through a series of tests. So a small percentage of new Vettes come with a few more miles on it than others. I think it would be more than 7 though--just pointing out how there can be differences between one new Vette and another.
Another example--which always makes me laugh when I see people posting how rain will never touch their Corvette--is that they put the car in a water chamber and absolutely drench it with a torrent of water. This is to make sure there are no leaks.
