Default LBR Metallic and Red Calipers...

Does this work? It's hard to see on the build page because the red calipers looks darker on the internet. Saw red calipers today in person and it looks more, well, RED (redder than the sort of darker red like the build page shows).

Do you think this pairing is a no-go? OR... Does it work...?

Thanks in advance.

I have '19 GS 2LT LBR with black rims, red calipers...outstanding look...not everyone will agree...but then that's why they make an assortment of vehicle colors and caliper colors...who are you trying to please...yourself? or the critics?...Bottom line..if you like that combe...go for it!

I have a LBR GS, and the red calipers would clash with the darker LBR IMO. black or gray goes better.

I would suggest getting the Torch Red calipers and see how you like them. If you decide that you don't like them, find someone to paint them or even powdercoat them for you.

Yeah, maybe so. I think I've seen them when configuring a Stingray and the Z51 package. I don't think these are available as a choice on the GS. I like these.

Thanks for your reply and suggestion.

I checked into powdercoating calipers on my Z and, if I remember correctly--about 7-8 years ago--there was concern about the heat on calipers and the powder coating and durability. That may have improved with time. Secondly, it's not a cheap thing to do. Thirdly, I believe I'd lose the writing on the caliper.

I think the torch red calipers would look good on the car but everyone has different tastes. Hopefully you can find either someone with a car that color and with the TR calipers or maybe a dealer would have a car in stock that would have the color combo.

Yes, they are the machine face Z51 wheels. I have a set with tires listed in the for sale section. Also have a set without tires not listed yet.

They were optional on my Stingray. "Wheels, Black Machined Aluminum, 19 Front, 20 Rear, $1495.00."

I've got the red. I'd have prefered body color but that wasn't an option... But it looks good.

Clash, IMO. I ordered my LBR GS with the standard color calipers and am happy with my decision. If you are on "the fence" about it, save yourself $500.00 and go with standard.

It has different wording (now, at least). This is a capture of my build (in case I should have to settle for a Stingray instead of a GS). They look similar or the same...
