LBR Metallic and Red Calipers...
Does this work? It's hard to see on the build page because the red calipers looks darker on the internet. Saw red calipers today in person and it looks more, well, RED (redder than the sort of darker red like the build page shows).
Do you think this pairing is a no-go? OR... Does it work...?
Thanks in advance.

^^^ I was in the LBR thread but after viewing 10-12 pages, I gave up. I see you managed to fare better in your search. Thanks for you help.

I would suggest getting the Torch Red calipers and see how you like them. If you decide that you don't like them, find someone to paint them or even powdercoat them for you.

I checked into powdercoating calipers on my Z and, if I remember correctly--about 7-8 years ago--there was concern about the heat on calipers and the powder coating and durability. That may have improved with time. Secondly, it's not a cheap thing to do. Thirdly, I believe I'd lose the writing on the caliper.

I think the torch red calipers would look good on the car but everyone has different tastes. Hopefully you can find either someone with a car that color and with the TR calipers or maybe a dealer would have a car in stock that would have the color combo.

Clash, IMO. I ordered my LBR GS with the standard color calipers and am happy with my decision. If you are on "the fence" about it, save yourself $500.00 and go with standard.
