Ever see a grown man cry?
Usually I reserve tears for spilt single malt, but this...
Looks like someone got into me in a diagonal parking lot. I'm guessing the easiest way to do this is to pull the front clip off and have the entire thing resprayed. Anyone have this done on theirs? BTW...not sure why the pictures look like the front end has been sandblasted. Doesn't look that way live.
Thanks,
Mike

That sucks and I feel (and remember) your pain.
The good news is that it can be repaired and no one can tell.
Soon, your baby will be as good as new.

I would pull the fascia off and have it resprayed. But talk to your body shop and see what they say. Sorry to see the damage - I suppose the person that hit you did not leave a note.

16 Vettes and counting…..
It will be as good as new, but I'm sure whoever did it, knew it.

Dam, is all I can say, some people have no respect for others people cars!
It happens all the time, wife's SUV someone open there door, and dented rear passenger door, never left a note.
I know the aggravations it is occurring right now, but any good body shop can make it look like it never happened.

I came out to my parking lot at work a few nights ago, to see that someone had put traffic cones around 1/4th of the row I was parked in. Technically, I was blocked in, but I just moved a cone out of the way. But what really pissed me off and some had apparently taken a spray paint can with an extension (I'm guess that's what it was) and made marks all around my car, and the area around it. They also sprayed UNDER my rear bumper. So far I haven't seen any evidence that any paint overspray got on my car, but still, it seemed a very careless and inconsiderate thing to so. I mean, why not wait until no cars where around, then block it off and mark it for your little scientific experiment? I took it up with Facilities people in my company but so far no action has taken place, other than they identified the individual who did it. It was some engineer but I don't know what his purpose was.

I worked with a consulting firm that specialized in parking structures. Wow, that was many years ago....

OP.
have the shop handle it and all them to Remove bumper.
use one specializing in corvettes. They're out there.
ps. The front bumper probably is sandblasted. So after respray and suggested outgassing period passes get some PPF on there will ya!

yes they do! I've painted fir 40 yrs! They ALWAYS show back up no matter how you blend, burn whatever you do! You can hide by going peak line to peak line but clear on top of clear ALWAYS dies back!

I have a repair on my LMB Very that is over a decade old, and it's undetectable. It was"blended" into two other panels.
Maybe when it's many years older, it may show up, but by then it will be in a scrap heap in some junk yard.
