Default Thoughts after one year...

It's been a year since I purchased my corvette , with absolutely no regrets. I would say, thus far, it is my favorite car I've owned. Past 2 cars were an audi tt, and a bmw z4, so this is my first American car and higher HP car. The salesman was hesitant for me to test drive it, as I'm 5 2, and it is an M7. The second I felt and heard that v8, I had to have it. It is my DD, I don't track it .. and it's wonderful. I will say I drove like an *** in my other cars, but this car has scared the sht out of me and taught me to respect the beast. For sure it is too much power for me, no denying that, but I still have fun in it. Overall it's a beautiful, enjoyable car.

Glad you're loving and respecting your C7. Take good care of it-she'll take good care of you in return.

Yeah buddy.....it teaches respect quick. Luckily, for a car of this kind of power, it's pretty forgiving.

I absolutely love mine too! ♡ 9-months in.

We bonded immediately by the time I drove it home 250 miles from the Chev. dealer. Most don't drive them (C7s) like an a** that I've noticed. 👍

As a new owner ( 600 miles) its great to hear such a great review. Have you had any issues at all with the car?

Congrats on one year! Good to hear you still love your car! I'm not quite one month in and have put about 500 miles on my GS so far (a lot of that was the 200+ mile drive home from the dealer).

Previous DD was an '18 Scat Pack Charger with 485 hp, so I had some experience with higher hp' d vehicles. I can sure tell the GS is quicker!

considering all the problems and glitches that other people have experienced, especially with the 2014 (mine has 30 k miles now) , I am extremely lucky that I have not had any issues electronically or mechanically. Knock on wood lol. There are a few minor things that drive me crazy, like some rattles here and there, or the fact that my Bluetooth music through my Galaxy doesn't show the title in the instrument panel, and that it's skip shifts into 4th gear when I'm going from 1st to 2nd because it feels like being economical haha. These are all fixable or minor.
Besides that there are no problems at all!

Are you enjoying the gs more than the charger?

Should be , it's a thousand pounds lighter. I'm going from a Hellcat to a ZO6. Can't wait to see the difference.

We still have the Charger. Honestly, I LOVE that car. I considered buying a second one just for me because I love it so much, but that's just weird. Lol! And I like to try new things.

It is bigger and heavier, for sure... But it's also more comfortable (super plush Alcantara seats), easier to get in and out of, has options that aren't even available on the Vette (blind spot monitoring, ACC, auto wipers, heated steering wheel) and it sounds like a freaking mean, pissed off V8 should! Pops and gurgles for days! The mid-muffler delete helped a little with that, but it sounded great before.

It really is an awesome car!

My last car was a 2012 challenger srt. M6, great car, loved it. It was a one owner,us. Two totally different cars, the challenger put a smile on my face every time I drove it, the stingray makes me smile, and do a happy dance, love it!
