SD Card reader in 2019 GS?
So none of the documentation I've found so far addresses this silly question - all it speaks to is USB ports. I'm referring to using for music and not the one in the glove box for the PDR
So, is there a dedicated SD card reader in the center console as was in my 2014 Z51?

Well that sucks.....
Nice thing about using a card over a USB stick is the card doesn't stick out from its socket as does a USB stick. I never had to worry about placing (or getting) something in the center console and snapping anything off.....
Hmmm. I see that Verbatim makes a low-profile 32 gB one.. that might be the ticket....

The low profile is what I use in both cars. Works fine, hardly know it's there.
2015 C7 Model Year was the final year there was an SD card slot (for music files) in the center console (or anywhere else in the car). The only remaining SD card slot remains in the glove box area and is exclusively for use with the PDR. --- From 2016 forward, all music files must be loaded/accessed via the USB ports remaining in the center console and/or behind the MyLink screen.
Work-around: You can still use either an SD and/or MicroSD card in a 2016 or later C7. Simply purchase a USB-SD Card Adapter. --- I successfully use this method with 128GB MicroSD cards in both my C7 and Cadillac ELR (whose CUE system is basically identical to Chevy's MyLink, just with a different "skin" theme).

Hope this info helps. Good Luck!
I'm aware of the USB > SD Card converters but again, they stick out way too far for my taste. I've ordered a couple of low-profile USB flash drives
in the USB port behind the infotainment screen. Works fine, doesn't stick out like a conventional USB drive. You can get whatever size you need up to 128 GB but I am not sure how large the Corvette port will support. I think I am using a 32 GB drive. Other brands are available in the same form factor, search Amazon for "mini USB drive".
I have been trying to use on 2015 Z51 3LT and it is saying no SD CARD INSERTED I have tried over 4 cards is there a certain card that everyone is using.. Thanks inadvance
