I know this has been asked many times .. Sorry
But I need a quick answer because I need it today.
What is the best Battery (most powerful) that fits into a 2014 corvette stingray Z51?
I installed a Autocraft Platinum AGM Group H6 Battery from Advance Auto Parts because that was the best AGM battery I could find locally. It has 760 cold cranking amps which is quite a bit more than the stock battery. The only down side is that it only has a 3 year warranty. I was planning to pick up a X2Power Premium AGM Battery for 2014 Chevrolet Corvette V8 6.2L 615CCA Car and Truck from a Batteries Plus store when I could get to one. It has a 5 year warranty and 775 cold cranking amps. The closest is about 140 miles away. Decided not to wait and got this one. I'm very happy.
went with the platinum from batteries plus.. worked perfect and changed in the parking lot with me helping them on purpose 10% off plus another 10% with military discount

Thank you for all of your input I ended up with the Autocraft Platinum AGM Group H6 Battery from Advance Auto Parts. The install was done perfectly....for free .. plus ,they also checked out other parts, like the alternator ,etc. Even did a complete diagnostic test .Everything was all good! The sucker now starts without any hesitation. I really appreciate all of your inputs!
Thanks again
Michael
Get the specs; OEM Cold Cracking Amps (CCA) = 565
DieHard AGM (pic below) was CCA = 760
Found the same capacity at AutoZone and Advanced Auto in their brand name.
DieHard was on sale at the time;
We have a Johnson's Controls battery plant in our town (one of the largest suppliers) and when our ASME section toured they had ~20 labels at the end of the line for many brands! I asked what the difference was and the plant manager, who conducted the tour, said "we give the same Warranty but some companies vary it depending on the price charged! Frankly I'd go by the Cold Cracking Amps!
Same here. ^^^^
I got my Sears Gold AGM 850 cc for my Mercedes Benz turbodiesel, about $130.00 IIRC on-sale by buying on-line, then picking it up at the Sears Automotive Center near me. 4-miles away. I installed myself.
