C7 Operating Temperatures
The Owner Manual for our C6 gave all sorts of numbers about when various warnings or protective features would kick in.
The C7 Owner Manual is much less useful.
So here are some numbers I'm looking for:
Coolant thermostat temperature?
Coolant temperature when radiator fan goes to High?
Coolant temperature when DIC gives a warning(s) or when power is reduced?
With 0W-40 oil, or 5W-30 if no numbers available for the new oil-
Oil Pressure minimum at idle with hot oil?
Normal oil pressure with warmed up oil (175' - 200') at cruising rpm?
Minimum-Maximum normal oil temps for full throttle, and redline temps?
A8 Transmission:
Minimum & max temps for hard use?
"Let it cool down" temp?
Max (red line) temp?
Probably nobody knows all of these numbers, but please tell me the ones you do know.
Also, please indicate if a number you give is something published by GM, or just based on your experience and general "good practice".
