I've searched through a ton of threads, but can't find a day by day schedule of events.
Do you register the night before? Before class starts the first day?
How early are you allowed to show up the day before you start, if at all?
What time does the class start on the first day?
What time are you done on the last day? 4:00 was what other threads said.
This is the schedule when I was there in late March:
Day 1:
6:45-7:30 - Breakfast
7:30-8:00 - Registration
8:00-12:00 - Morning session of class
12:00-1:00 Lunch in Clubhouse
1:00-4:30 - Afternoon session of class
Day 2:
6:45-7:45 - Breakfast
8:00-12:00 - Morning session of class
12:00-1:00 Lunch in Clubhouse
1:00-4:00 - Afternoon session of class
On the 2nd day, class ended at 4:00 with the group photo taking place just after that. We were out of the resort by 4:30.
I checked in about 3pm the day before the class. Gave me time to get moved into the condo and drive around the complex to find the club, tracks, garages, etc. Everything will be explained at check in. I think you'll get a package before you arrive that details everything.
We got the "hot weather" special in June, and that deal included an additional condo night, an SD card and dinner on night 1. This allowed us to show up around 3 in the afternoon before class started, register, get oriented and only concern ourselves with getting to class the next day.. That deal runs mid June thru mid September, so likely won't apply any longer, but is worth recalling for next year.
Summer class hours are from 0700-1500 with an hour for lunch both days to minimize the heat, while the "normal" schedule is 0800-1600
I'd recommend getting in town the day before, even if it means an extra condo night or hotel room. Getting all the details done that afternoon makes it easier on Day 1
The students are divided into several groups that rotate through classroom training, handling exercises and track time. It is fast paced and not a lot of time spent thumb-twiddling, and run with clock like precision. MUST DO for any 'vette owner!!
I'm about to sign up for a January session. Seems like a great deal for 1k. Good to know they start that early on day one. I was going to spend the night before with a friend in Vegas but that's an hour away so might have to get to Pahrump the night before. Anyone know what they charge for the extra night? Also curious as to how much track time you get and are you ever solo in the car or always with an instructor? I'm also assuming that you can choose between auto or manual transmissions?

Call the number on the pic in my post above for the condo info and to confirm start time for day one.
Track time is almost all solo lead/follow with the instructor training the first student and the others in the group following, with everyone on the instructor's CB channel. Check YouTube videos for an idea of the track experience. IIRC we got about 6 or 7 20-25 minute sessions plus the driving exercises and classroom training.
After running a few laps, you take one ride as a passenger with an instructor to show what the car can do, and see how much more you can wring out of it... VERY impressive part of the training.
You are automatically assigned the type of trans you own, but likely can change if desired (although the experience will be different with the A8 than the M7 due to shifting operation and the gearing)
Be sure to take an SD card or two to record the PDR info for both the track time, and for the driving exercises before the track driving starts. Using the PDR wasn't covered in our class till after we'd done the exercises, and it would be a good thing to have those videos, as they are a bit like drinking from a firehose, time isn't a friend of recalling the finer points of the exercises.

has anyone told you if the school uses a different set of tires for the cold weather you will experience in January?
