Noise when turning right
Hi guys,
I've got a 2017 Z51 with 4000km (2500 miles roughly) on it bought new this spring.
I've noticed recently that when turning at speeds above 10mph, the slightest turn of the steering to the right I hear something coming from the left front tire.
It's not rubbing, doesnt sound like a worn bearing or anything and it's faint.
I can't hear the same on the other side but have not tried to listen from the passenger side yet.
Could this just be run-flat tires flexing?
I can't feel any vibration and higher speeds are fine.
Figured i'd check if this is simply a normal thing. The rotors are slotted so it could be as stupid as air swooshing by or something like that.
I'll mention it at my next service, but if it's something simple and normal, i won't bother.
Thanks!

Something stuck in the tread?

It's been a while now so I don't think so. A rock would sound like a ticking sound, but i'll check it out also.

I just took off the left front wheel to have a look,
The tire has nothing wrong aside from a few tiny tiny rocks wedged (which fly off on their own).
I also double checked that nothing was loose on the caliper side or direction.
The noise is sorta like the chatter/skip when doing a hard turn in a parking lot, but higher speed (obviously) and lower volume.
Maybe it is just sidewall stiffness and i'm hearing the tire's faint squeel? Or put another way, hearing the tires "working".
I'll try to get the G/F to drive tomorrow and listen from the passenger side to see if the other side does the same noise.

Try taking the front wheel center caps off and drive the car and see if you still get the noise.

i highly doubt they could be involved as they are holding strong, but is there something known about this?

Might have something behind them rattling around like small stone(s). Just a guess.
Check to see that the lug nuts are properly torqued as well.

Everything was torqued properly and nothing behind the cap ( I would have seen something fall off when I took the tire off).
I'm leaning towards very faint tire squeal
