As most of you know I just bought my 2019 Z06 and clueless on the exhaust as have sound management set on to Track. That said does the MIld to Wild do the same as if I have my sound management set to Track sound. Will it sound different? What advantage does it add? And is it a easy install? Need to do a search on forum and see if I can find more out but appreciate any help.. Thanks to all. Tom
With Mild to Mild the one advantage is in the wild position the valves will stay open 100% of the time. Sound will be the same as when the valves are open in track or any of the other settings except of course stealth.
With the press of the remite you can go to stealth mode... Sometines as when long distance cruising you wabt to quiet the exhaust. Ut us easy to install 8nstuctions are good worth the money
Very easy install in about 15min. The best thing is you can close the valves at anytime. I like it early in the morning not to awaken my retired neighbors at 5am.
I'd like to have control over it, too. I read where one guy installed his with a toggle switch in his 'Vette.
I wonder how much trouble it would be to connect an unused switch in the cockpit to turn it on and off--like, maybe the convertible button...?
No need if you have Homelink. You can program to the visor very easily. I have one for my garage door and the other 2 open and close the valves. I believe mine was $80 on Amazon.

Oh, WOW ! Great news ! I want it ! Thanks for your post... ( now, do you have a link...? )

Raised a similar question in another recent Tread.
I have my Grand Sport NPP set at always Track regardless of drive mode. This is a test that you can easily run and hear what I believe are the NPP butterflies opening at ~1700 rpm.
Put the car in direct drive: 4th if an M7 or 6th in manual mode if an A8.
Drive at ~1300 rpm and floor it. You'll hear a distinct step in sound from low to loud at ~1700 rpm. I believe that is the NPP butterflies opening. If NPP is NOT set at always Track, in Touring that sound change happens at about ~2500 rpm.
For those with Mild to Wild could you try that test with the Mild to Wild set at Mild, which should produce that step in sound at ~1700 rpm.
With the Mild to Wild set at Wild, the NPP valves should be open at 1300 rpm and expect you should hear a slight increase in noise from 1300 when it reaches 1700 rpm BUT not the stepped change in sound. If not what buy the Mild to Wild switch or for some pull the fuse- just set to always Track.
Another option is the Forza E1 or B5. I have an E1 that I lengthened the wires to install inside the car. I was originally going to use it with a simple switch but am using the remote for now. Can also be used with Homelink but it requires two buttons and I have mine programmed for two garage doors leaving only one. The B5 is designed to handle installation in the heat of the engine bay.
