Stingray emblem or no Stingray ?
so I just finished replacing my chrome emblems and flags with carbon flash replacements tonight , but ended up leaving off the stingray emblems on front fenders as I sort of like the clean look without. Anyone else? Thoughts?

Lots of people feel like you....I like the badging myself. This is the first Corvette in almost 40 years to be called a Stingray. I wear it proudly.

Point well taken . My chrome was already off when I bought car so I guess it just looks natural without . But I certainly appreciate the reason behind it

The first things I removed from my all black Stingray and gave them to my granddaughter who painted them bright purple and put big googly eyes on them. I think they ended up part of a Lego creature menagerie in the end.
GOOD riddance!

When my 86 year old mother saw my car for the first time she asked why I put guitars on the front fenders. LOL!! I seriously thought about taking them off after that but decided to leave them on. For those that have removed them I do like that look.

I like the look of the emblems, so I would vote keep the emblems on the car.

I would have preferred the sixties script logo, but I am proud to be cruising in the Sting Ray tradition. Badge on, Garth!

Never gave it much thought no one is going to notice one way or another but you. Seems pointless to remove.

no they were already removed but I replaced the others with carbon flash and was deciding if I wanted to add the carbon flash stingrays to the spots where the others used to be that’s all

Was the first thing that I planned to remove from my C7, later on I forgot about them and left on.

Personally, I like leaving them as GM built them, however people changing everything on Corvettes over the years makes the old originals all-the-more special.

I had mine on for a year but eventually took them off. I appreciate what they represent, but I was tired of explaining to people what they are. Looks more like a mini guitar to me.
