Is there something to prevent this turbulent air from depositing dirt all over the back end? They make an air deflector that re-routs the air flow to prevent the back window from getting covered dirt and road grime so quickly on my suburban.
Our vettes suffer from big flat butt syndrome. They are wide and flat in the rear allowing everything to adhere.
my sedan gets all kinds of dirt on its bumper but not as much on the trunk. Aerodynamic at work I guess!

Not really a solution but I do find my C7 Carbon Rear Diffuser stopped the lager black particles but sill have small ones! Also have to clean between the fins!
My solution is a waterless cleaner and microfiber towels I keep on a shelf I installed between garages! Have some Bug & Tar remover on the shelf as well that isI mostly use on the exhaust.
One would guess the OP figured out washing was the obvious solution. That is why he was asking for an alternate solution to PREVENT the initial buildup. Not much help here.

There is no help to be had. You can't violate the laws of physics. This will happen with any vertical flat back auto, as a simple look at your average mini van on the street will show. That's my point. OP was asking for some sort of magical solution that would make it all go away. There isn't one.
You already have the best rear for not collecting dirt. On a recent 2000 mile road trip with 2 other cars the standard rear was the cleanest at the end of the day. My stage 1 gs rear was dirtier and a stage 3 GS was the worst.
I was worried about asking such a ludicrous question. I washed the car. Dried the car. After a couple hours later on a dry day. I took her out to a friends on all concrete, no dirt roads and by the time I went 14 miles to my destination. Her *** got that dirty. I have waterless dry clean spray and Fiber cloth in the back, right now and some Invisaglass cleaner too. I have a greeny weeny for the exhaust tips. I probably look like how some of you write, wiping the car down in a parking lot out side of McDonalds. I was curious about whether or not the wing or air deflector would change the air flow enough. I can also see that I will not post any thing again, read only. This is not the environment I want to deal with. If you do not have something constructive to add to the discussion read and move on. Why is so important some people have to be rude. As if I don't know to wash my car. Have fun keyboard warriors.

I feel bad for the many folks who become part of the silent majority versus the vocal minority like me! We gain information from you'all. Granted like some other social media we have some members who may sound like AH's but often they are just having fun-unfortunately some do feel at their expense!
When directed at me I usually just laugh at some of the foolish comments unless nasty then I fire back- but only to that individual! Doesn't bother me!
For this instance I never used a waterless spray on my C6-no need the stuff came off when I washed the car. Good enough for me. I showed the shelf I built at the rear of the Vette since as you say one drive and it gets dirty. My usual drive is 35/40 mile round trip to town along many rural roads with no traffic between farm fields. I do "occasionally" travel pretty fast and the dust and dirt does accumulate in the back. If it looks bad the spray containers and microfiber cloths are hanging right there! Gives me the incentive to clean more often.
