Base is great, just get the NPP exhaust!

Z51 you can tell in pictures because it has carbon black side view mirrors and rear spoiler. It also has the lines of slotted rotors.
I also liked the 2LT because cooled seats are useful in the summertime.

I agree, nothing wrong with the base C7, and the NPP exhaust is a 'must have' for most.

To avoid any confusion, the seats aren't cooled, they are vented by a fan (big difference).
Good you are please with yours as many here have stated the vented seats are worthless.

I've had non Z51 and Z51 corvettes in the past. I wouldn't go without it in my humble opinion.

I have the vented seats in my SRT and I love it, especially on long trips.

Not necessarily. My Z51 had body colored mirrors and spoiler. Black is optional.

You need to check the photos of the car carefully to find the Z51 & various interior differences. What is very helpful is to get a picture of the RPO sticker (in the trunk next to the battery) as it lists what was put on the car from the factory, this will remove most of the doubt. There are some things that could have been swapped like wheels, brakes and the roof after purchase, so the sticker is not a 100% guarantee of what might be on a particular C7.

Most used dealers don't know anything about 'Vettes so its hard to get the right information. Plus any online ad is only as good as the person would edited the copy. When I bought my previous car (Nissan 350Z) I found that about 1/2 of the ads were wrong on some level. I am talking clear mistakes like listing cruise control when a photo showed no buttons on the steering wheel. I even saw ads that got the transmission wrong!

I agree. Z51 w/Mag Ride is the bargain. Once you get the Vette, you will find yourself taking corners sharper, speeding up on off ramps, and generally finding places to cruise with nice curves and straightaways. The Z51 is the most cost-efficient way to get the most out of your Vette if you aren't going to track the car.

As others have said my Z51 also has body colored mirrors and spoiler.

Hey thanks neighbor. Where in Mississauga are you?

I'm in Streetsville.

Very unlikely I will ever track the car, is there any point getting it for street driving? Will it make a major difference?

Thanks in advance...

You may check out our website for more exterior parts & accessories if you are trying to upgrade your Vette.
