No issues I've seen at night, but admittedly I dont drive this car at night much. I hate cleaning bugs off it. It is applied on the inside. I will call the dealer I bought the car from to find out brand of tint used.

Air 80 on all my vehicles, and you definitely feel a difference - most of my commute is directly east/west, so full Vegas sun both ways. No starring/sunburst/etc. at night, no issues with the HUD.

And don't think anyone (law enforcement or otherwise) would notice the tint, its that light.

Thanks. Understand the bugs, but not if applied to inside as you stated (?)

I had the XPEL Prime XR Plus (30%) installed on the driver, passenger, quarter panel windows and rear hatch. Even going through Las Vegas when it was 107 degrees outside we could not feel heat coming through the windows.

I was going to have the windshield done too but glad I did not because during that roadtrip I got a hugh crack in the windshield which is getting replaced tomorrow. Something to think about.
and because only a complete idiot tints the front windshield PERIOD

Why do some senior members of this forum feel compelled to comment in very disrespectful ways on topics they have zero experience in? Is this how the forum used to be? If so...I think times are changing and that sort of communication is so off-putting and completely non-value add to the greater good of the forum.

I tinted my windshield 50%. It does not negatively impact my visibility.

Did they apply the windshield film to the outside or inside?

Does Llumar ring a bell for the brand of tint?
Mine is Llumar Nano-Ceramic. I love it.

Some folks, the older they get the more crochety they get. Some "idiots" can't help venting their spleen.

I used to do the same, but calling film like the Llumar Air 80 tint is a bit of a misnomer - it's essentially clear. And I believe they have a full 100% light transmission version with just slightly less performance.
