Dead infotament...
Form a quick search it looks like issues with the screen on these cars are fairly common. Mine seems to be a bit different from the majority that I see posted. I have a 16 Z51 2LT Coupe.
The screen goes dead with the exception of front and rear cameras. It does not display the logo when you get in the car. It does not show anything on the screen at all once the car is running. No flicker, nothing. Only the rear view camera when the car is in reverse and then front once you shift into 1st. Once the front camera times out it goes blank. Even the turn signals do not make the "clicking" sound like normally.
Sometimes everything comes back and it will work for a bit and then dies again.
I had a local abysmal dealer look at it. They claim that they reset the system and it worked OK for like a month. Now its doing the same thing again. I'm going to go to another dealer this time since the last one put 20 miles on the car in order to "reset" it. Just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestion for a direction I can point them in? I see the stuff about the HMI module but the symptoms in my car seem different from what is in that TSB.
