Default PDR retrofit

Quick question; can the PDR be retrofitted on a 2018 GS or is it an only when built option?

Thanks!!

You're better for getting an AIM Solo DL + smarty cam for pretty much the same stuff.

OR go cheap, harry's lap timer.

Or little less cheap Garmin Virb XE

I've been running Harry's Lap Time plus a Bluetooth OBD-II (Kiwi unit) for a few years. Works good enough for basic information and general data. The following video is using a GoPro with Race Render to combine all the data... sorry for the crappy audio quality:

Clearly the integrated PDR is way better and easier.

No system on the market is going to give you as much data from the car systems as the PDR. It also is the best integrated data and video analysis system I've used. Unfortunately, you can't retrofit it to an existing car.

The 6th gen Camaro guys have figured it out. But it's an expensive and complicated pain in the ***.
