Just got off the VetteStripes website. About 1/3 of the factory cost and I don't need to order the C7 from the factory with stripes if I can find one (Arctic White/Red Interior 2LT Convertible) at some dealer.
I can get them "gloss" and in three different colors of red. One closely matches the red interior but the Torch Red is the bright red color of my C5 so I might go with that.
Couple things to think about.Factory is high, yes.A 3 yr. Guarantee on New Install.Odds of finding used with your combo? A installer cost and does it have the Waterfall Area?
Just thinking for ya...
Looks like we will be selling our pristine Torch Red/Oak 2000 C5 Convertible (49K miles!/Always garage kept), for a new 2019 C7 Convertible 2LT, Arctic White/Red Interior, Spice Red Top.
Thinking of the Full Length Dual Stripes, Crystal Red. I like the stripes but is this addition a bit too "hokey". I've got to live with the choice for a long time.
Comments (Thanks, Bob)
(I did a search but didn't find anything about stripes...)
Does not matter what I think do you think its hokey? Your car your choice
Yep, Stripes are now into the build. I've never seen a C7 with stripes over this way (mid-Gulf/FL) so I was wondering if this option is something that is simply not done. You all solved that mystery.
Arctic White/Red Interior/Red Full-Dual Stripes (just like that picture ((thanks for that!)).
The only change is to a black convert top instead of the Spice Red. Too many slightly different "reds" if the top is included.
I am assuming that the stripes are factory installed and not dealer installed. I see that "VetteStripes" has buckets of different types of stripes for a lot less (1/3) of the factory cost.
Anyone apply their own stripes?
Are the factory stripes "shiny" like the paint or matt finish?
Thanks again, Bob/Bradenton
The stripes are more like a semi gloss feature as far as I know they are installed at the factory but not positive. when the stripes were put on my 15 they even did the transparent top On my 08 I had the factory decal stripes taken off, they were faded ad really looked like crap, I had my dealer paint the stripes on looked great and at about the same cost as the factory stripe just another option. If the stripes on my 15 get bad I will check into having them painted on too
The factory strips on my car are not as shinny as the paint, but not really a matt finish either. My color combo is pretty subtle, you can't really see the stripes at all from some angles.

My GS is going to be Blade Silver with dual Carbon Flash stripes, Carbon Flash outside mirrors, red calipers, red interior. I am very excited to get her in about 2 weeks.
Should look something like this, except the interior is red, for some reason the Chevy build site doesn't color the interior with your choice.
Its all personal opinion. I got my GS with the Heritage stripe as I didn't like the look of the stripes down the back cover. Sure many will say my taste is less than educated.
I went to Corvette Stripes as well. Great service and selection. I had my installer put them on in one day. Right over my Suntek film. Mine are not glossy. I wanted the contrast of a matte finish.
