I tried to re calibrate it several times and cannot get full throttle, this all I get, I've attached a video in the link below. I've disconnected it and will return it.

How long have you had it installed?

I assume you tried disconnecting and reconnecting, double checking things are connected snuggly?

How old is your Vette's battery?

I’ve done everything possible and I have these in my other cars so I’m not new to them. My Vette is a 2016 with 5800 miles on it so I don’t think it’s my battery. Starts up just fine, volts and everything else checks out as it should. I’ve had it in the car since May of this year so just 4 months and I only drive it on the weekends.

Replace the unit. It shouldn't do that..

I just posted in another thread a few days ago that I'm on my second one of these controllers and it recently spontaneously over-revved my engine to 6k rpm twice in one day going to and coming from work. I disconnected it and I'm done trying to fix the thing. I have tried both versions and the first was fine for over a year and then I believe the tunnel heat degraded it. It would send me into reduced power mode after about an hour of driving. The second one is like yours with the **** and that one whacked out on me by suddenly revving the engine in the middle of clutching during a shift. I've lost all confidence in the thing and will not be reconnecting or replacing it.

Mine threw same code and reduced power mode repeatedly so I removed it.

The unit does not like heat. What exactly do you have in the armrest? Just the controller? As I understand it, that's not the heat sensitive part. The "brains" of the Vitesse does not have long enough wires to be stored in the armrest, if I'm not mistaken. Unless your wire is significantly longer than mine, it will not reach the armrest. This is the part that is heat sensitive. Not the remote (the piece with the **** or buttons, depending on which version you have).

I love how this unit performs, but I can't have it disabling my car at will in the middle of a drive while I'm on the highway. I've had this happen a total of 4 times in a 30 day span and I only drive my car on the weekends. I cleared the codes and re-calibrated it each time, just to have it happen again and now it won't even calibrate so I unplugged it and my car has been driving fine without it. I called tech support, but I wasn't in the car as I was told I needed to be so once I got home I hooked it back up, but couldn't get anyone on the phone. I took it back off and thinking I may be done with this after all of the complaints of the same issues, just not worth it if I have to worry about my car going into reduced power mode randomly because of it. I would still like to give Vitesse and chance to rectify this if possible, but if not oh well......

Where else are we suppose to store it, I mean it's right next to the pedal as far away as i can get it underneath the carpet. Like you said the wires are but so long...

Try the Sprint Booster. It's what I have. Self calibrating. That's why I bought it.

LOL, nice! I've kept mine at the default Race 5. I'll try Race 9 at some point.

I have Sprint Booster on my Nismo 370z and it's great and was thinking of going the same route.

I actually tried this thing again, hooked it up and it still wouldn't calibrate. It won't go to 000, but instead it goes to H09 and then when i press the throttle it's says H4.2. I tried to get them on the phone again and my call from yesterday still wasn't returned so I'm done with it. It lasted 3 months before it started to fault and is complete trash at this point. I hope all interested buyers see this and beware and choose another company to purchase this type of mod from. I have Sprint Booster in my other car so I'll give that a try.

Did you say you contacted the manufacture?

Yeah, my second one is coming out this weekend (disconnected last week). They never responded to my email requesting help so I'm pulling it out and tossing both versions I have. I have already readjusted to the non-Vitesse setup and moved on.

I'm pretty pissed because I really liked the dam thing, but screw it and I've moved on as well.
