10/7/18 Great Color combo delivery post, ZR1/Z06/GS/Stingray, Spring Mtn~Mike Furman*
~Just returned Wednesday from Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Race Track in Pahrump, Nevada...what an absolute blast was had by all 20 of my Corvette customers
that flew in from all over the Country. The Perma Grin is still on all the attendees faces which is the way it should be. It was great meeting many customers that I have done
business with over the phone but had never met. My next time out to Spring Mountain will be with 12 of my ZR1 customers March 2019. Stay tuned.
To view more pics and videos from this trip please go to my Corvette Furman Facebook page.
Adam of Adam's Polishes attended with his best friend Garrett from college and even gave a demo along with gifting all the classmates and Pro instructors some very cool Adam's gift boxes.
Adam and Garrett in the Hertz Rental Z06.
Billy A. of Hawaii ordered his Corvette while stationed on the Big Island and I had it drop shipped for Courtesy delivery near his parents home in Oregon and then he drove it down to Nevada on his way to Georgia.
Congrats to Billy, on Monday the 1st of October...his rank officially now Captain, Army.
~Michael A. Of Clifton, Virginia found me on the Internet as he follows all my delivery posts and stories. Michael Factory ordered a 2019 Grand Sport Cpe as his very first Corvette but certainly not his last. 25 and just about to graduate Medical School...hard to find a finer young man and polite beyond belief. Torch Red with Black interior 1LT Pkg, Red calipers, 7 spd manual, Black Wheels with red stripe and Red seatbelts. Super looking combo! Michael had his good friend Jim drive him to Criswell in his Cobra Kit car and he needed a minor adjustment so our service dept repaired his Cobra while he was here!
~Robert and Arlene D. Of Chincoteague Island, Virginia were referred to me by a couple of my Corvette customers so they placed their Factory order with me and I gave them a sight unseen trade in value for their 2016 Challenger over the phone 6 weeks ago. Saturday we met for the first time as they drove the 4 hours here to take delivery of their 4th Corvette. They ordered a 2019 Grand Sport Cpe in Long Beach Red with Kalahari interior. Equipment list includes: Auto transmission, Chrome Wheels and 2LT Pkg. Two super nice folks and they are thrilled with this color combo!
~Rod H. Of Beltsville, MD placed a factory order for a Torch Red with Gray interior 2019 ZR1 Cpe and he can’t wait to park it next to his Cascade Green 1957 Corvette.
Rod took delivery Friday as I came in on my day off to assist with going over the Vehicle from top to bottom. Rod chose the following equipment: chrome wheels and chrome badge Pkg,
Auto trans, Red Seat belts and 3ZR Pkg. Stunning combo for vin #1050!
~Dan M. Of Virginia placed his factory order for this Blade Silver with Spice Red interior 2019 ZR1 Cpe with 3ZR Pkg. Vin#959 is all ready to drive away!

~Kevin C. Of Henderson, NV just purchased this Long Beach Red 2019 GS Cpe with the Spice Red interior. Last week he bought an Orange ZR1 Convt from me and then
he called up asking for this GS too. Equipment list includes: CF Instrument panel, Auto trans, Chrome Wheels and 3LT Pkg.
Plycar will pick it up this Wednesday and transport to Kevin’s driveway.
~David R. Of Jacksonville, Florida called me 7 weeks ago to factory order his dream Corvette Convt. And last week I had it drop shipped to a Chevrolet dealer near him for a courtesy delivery.
David ordered his ‘19 Stingray Convt in Racing Yellow Tintcoat with Kalahari interior and Black top.
Equipment list: CF full length dual stripe, Magnetic ride control, 7Spd manual trans, Navigation/PDR and 2LT Pkg.

Missed you last week, buddy! Wow, two ZR1 deliveries this week too. What a great picture of the '78 Indy Pace Cars on the train...I've never seen that one before.

I saw the Long Beach Red with Spice Red 3LT Grand Sport all detailed and prepped earlier this week. It is an absolutely striking car. I wish they offered Spice Red with the 2LT package. Finally got to see some Grand Sports in Shadow Gray and compare them with the Watkins Gray you had on the lot.
You really had some awesome deliveries this week. Wow!!!

The blue C3 shown from the side is my favorite for the week. Dare I say it, the runner up has to be the Cobra kit car. I am thinking that they used the old Fox body 5.0L Mustang chassis/running gear - but that thing has to be quite fast.
I took my girlfriend on a great Corvette club cruise yesterday (about 20 cars). It was perfect and I got to put 140 miles on it. We even got to take our cars on the Jamestown Ferry across the James River near Williamsburg. It was nice to see so many "other people" snapping photos of our Corvettes lined up together as we crossed the river. Corvette owners really are like a big family!
Have a great Sunday, sir!!

Thank you Mike for another BIG FUN Sunday delivery thread. I always enjoy your new delivery backstories! Thanks also for the throwback pictures. A wonderful trip down memory lane and of course some new ones.
Glad, but not surprised, that Spring Mountain went excellently. We are looking forward to returning their with our ME!
Thank you Mike.

You could title this week's deliveries as "Beast Mode Week". That silver ZR1 is awesome.

Great pics as always. I love all of them and especially the new ZR-1's which look fantastic. Having finally seen one in person last week i can say the car looks like a total beast.
Not sure why but i think my favorite pic is the copper colored C2 at the gas pump. I just like that color and you don't see many like that - also it's a C2 which was my Dad's favorite generation.
Also i should add, congrats to the newly promoted army captain, we appreciate his service!

Another great post Mike. However this picture ask the question, "Why are the Camaro's on the covered car, and the Corvettes on the open car".

Mike, thanks for putting the Spring Mt. event together and for all the effort you put into making our non-driving time a blast for all. My wife took advantage of all the class time, and rode along with the pro instructors at every available opportunity. She said she learned a lot and made an interesting comment on the plane trip home. She said she might have learned more about the proper lines, speed, and braking techniques on the east course because she had 2X more laps, was watching the students in the mirror, could hear the instructor feedback, and wasn't mentally stressed with actually having to drive too. I thought that was an interesting point.
Well done, sir!
I've been using Adam's stuff for years, and it was fun to see that he is a human dynamo as he comes across in his videos, along with being an incredibly generous, nice guy. He's a great driver too. He has no fear!
