New ZO6 overheating

New ZO6 overheating
I have a friend with a brand new ZO6 who is being asked to do a 1-hour parade, walking speed in hot sun.
Friend was worried that the supercharge will overheat.
Is this a real concern?

I don't think so. I do parades all the time and I've never had an issue with overheating but I don't have a Z06.

The Z06's seem to fare better as a parade car than a track car...not what the owners hoped for!
A friend tracked his new ('17) Z06 and lasted about 10 min. on the track before temperature/transmission (auto) problems. He's not real pleased.

Huh? Seriously? It's a CAR.
I suggest your friend read his Owners Manual and see it it offers any caveats about anything even vaguely similar to the anticipated parade. And, do give him my best!
