Tuners

Hello. New to this forum and not quite sure where to post this...but was wondering if anyone out there is aware if there are downloadable tunes for corvettes. (download someones tune then put it onto your own device to transfer). I know such thing exists for motorcycles. If not, then does anyone know of a good product/price for handheld tuners for 2014 z51.

By downloadable tunes do you mean songs like in MP3 format? If not then what exactly do you mean by "downloadable tunes"?

I believe he is talking about ECM tunes... engine tuning.

HPTuners has an online tune repository that you can access (if you own one of their tuners) which would gain you access to tunes that you could download and install in your car. These would be custom tumes that have been uploaded by other so you are taking a risk that it might not be the safest tune for your setup to be installing.

There are also some other companies like Diablo that offer handheld tuners with a "canned" tune already available in the unit to install in your car.

In California cars will not pass smog-tests if they do not have the original programs in them. Perhaps that would be an issue in other states as well.

Yes tune for the engine. Ok thanks I'll check that site out...and I believe the tune will be fine in MA as long as you don't do anything too crazy. Any preference in Diablo vs hypertech?

There's no powercommander for the C7. If you're not familiar with loading and datalogging your best bet would be to find a reputable tuner in your area and get it properly tuned for the mods you have.
