And, pull up a little on the prongs inside the FOB to make sure they will get good contact. They will flatten out over time. Good luck, it's probably nothing serious.
And just for giggles, you may want to have the car battery checked. Tis a 3 year old car, and the battery may be getting weak. A weak battery in a Corvette can cause all kinds of stupid electronic glitches.

Well, I drove the Z to work today. The new battery did not do as I expected. Originally it complained that there was no remote, so I stuck the fob in the cradle in the steering column. That got the Z started.
On the chance the batteries are stale, I ordered a pack of new Eveready batteries from Amazon that are good to 2032. When they arrive, I'll swap then into the fobs.

make sure the battery is in the correct way. I swore I paid attention to how it came out when I replaced mine but I put it in backwards anyways. Could've saved many frustrating minutes had I just turned it over and tried it from the beginning.
Yes that happened to me last summer. When I first saw the message it didn't happen again for about a month then when it did happen again I snapped a pic of the display and took the car into the dealer .They said it was the keyless entry antenna going bad. They ordered the part and had to take the console out and replace it. They did a great job and you would never know they took the console out.

I think you miss read that 2032 is the battery size not the expiration...
I've been away from this thread for awhile; work.. Anyways, I had a few moments today and returned to read your post. I thought to myself, "Green, you cannot be that stupid, you can't, can you...?". Well, i just went upstairs to my office to check. Ahhhhhhhh, color me red. I guess I can be that stupid.
Once again I have proved the adage, "Tiss better to remain silent and thought the fool than it is to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.".

So, I'm reviving this thread because the 'Service Keyless Start System' has again appeared on my DIC. Started happening last week. I went to change FOB's and that battery was dead so I put in a new CR2032. Worked fine, message went away, until today. The message is back. Every single time I start the car. Would appreciate some advice and if this is cause for concern. Thanks.
Is the battery in the FOB. You need to make sure the batteries are good and I do not mean if it shows a correct voltage, because I went through 3 off brand batteries that showed 3.32 volts and none of them worked, (and yes the + is in the correct position) until I went and purchase a Duracell.
