Hi All,
I have a 2015 and need to put the license plate on the front cause I got a ticket. LOL. Anyway, I have the OEM brackets that came with the car but not the fasteners. I know I can get the fasteners online, but do not know how to install them. Does anyone have any documentation on the way in which those fasteners work on OEM grill mount? If so, can you please share.

Thanks so much.
Don't use the license plate bracket because it contacts the bumper of the car and it looks like crap. I used the aero bracket that also comes with the car. You just take the plastic plate that says Corvette off and put your plate on it. You have to bent the license plat a bit to match the bend on the bracket. The look is so much better and it just sits on the grille and never touches the painted surface of your car.
I have all that stuff but no connectors, so I am going to buy those plastic bolts so that it can fit on the car, I hate to spend a ton of money on a fix as once the police sign off on the fix, I will remove it. LOL. So how did you connect that to your car?
Yes you will get two brackets. one is the actual license plate bracket that looks like crap and the other is the aero bracket that holds the "Corvette" name plate. You will want to remove the "corvette" name plate and put your license plate on in it's place.

Well in that case just zip tie it to the grille temporarily.
Do you really have to trim the aero bracket or will the plate fit within the bracket's aero plate holder?
Thanks,

Trimming the bracket is not necessary. It fits perfect just the way it is centered in the grille. Just drill the holes. My bracket did not have screws so I went to AutoZone and bought some 1" long self-starting stainless steel screws. Then I drilled the holes, selecting the drill bit to match the screw thickness.
I mounted my front plate to the aero bracket as it looks considerably better than the license plate bracket. Since I am in Texas, and given that it is my daily driver, better to have a front plate than have to deal with the potential fuss for not having it installed. You do not need to trim anything for the tag to fit. But, to minimize the total area taken up by the aero bracket and the tag, the sides of the aero bracket can be trimmed off to make it narrower. I trimmed mine with a razor knife, it cuts easy. Also, when installing the tag, it will have to be bent (curved) slightly in the center as the aero bracket is not flat, it folds back slightly on each side. If you must run a front tag, this is definitely the way to go. It also does not contact the paint, only the grille.
