Default So beautiful...

Ever been just shocked on how beautiful these cars are? I went for a drive tonight and came home in time to hopefully mow the lawn for the last time this year. Had car sitting in driveway and when I got done...came out of garage and the way the sun and evening shadows cast light on my car just stunned me. I fall in love with this vette no less than twice a week. Thought I'd share a post of that moment. Feel free to add your moments...

Very nice. Admiral blue MetallicA is one of GMs best flavors of blue.

Nice ride? Awesome color too! Now, I noticed a few spots in the lawn you missed over on the right. Time to get the mower out again.

The red striping on the splitter and front fascia. You do that or is that part of the heritage package (I noticed the fender hashes)?

Haven't posted much in the C7 section, haven't felt the need. Your car is beautiful, and I would love to have it. But that being said, I was just reflecting on my C7 vs my C5. Yes the C7 is beautiful, rides better, better gas mileage, but mine lags at acceleration, not loud ( even with corsas extremes ), doesn't sound as good and finally doesn't get NEAR the compliments my C5 got. Now I know I can change a lot of this in the future, but can't touch the engine until extended warranty expires, I'm thinking of Vitnese controller and Mamo TB for now, will eventually add a different cam and Z06 body onto it. I was keeping both, but while the C7 was being shipped,I got caught in a flash flood and lost the C5. Maybe I'm just in mourning for my first vette, I like my C7 too,but don't love it like I did my C5. Sorry for being so long, L8R ZFLASH

I added those..as well as an 1/8" red pinstripe outlining the white center stripe from front to rear spaced an 1/8" out so there is a bit of blue between the two. It adds a unique touch. My dad worked at Corvette Assembly Plant for 10 yrs in the paint department. It was his idea and I really glad I did it. He has an eye for detail like that.

Yes lowered on stock bolts. It's a Z07 package and had to cut rear rubbers down to get the rear down enough to level out better with fronts.

Agree on base C7....this is why I added AFE, ported TB and intake...LG stepped LT headers...custom tune. And do have Vitesse controlled and a few other things. Now its wicked fast, responsive, and oh what a beautiful race car sound. I can never leave good enough alone though....haha. Your C5 is gorgeous!
