I'm in the market for a GS and I've been planning to order a 2019. My daughter just sprang the news that she's getting married and so now funds need to be redirected. Rather than ordering I'm looking to buy a low mileage GS. Are there any significant differences, ride? engine? transmission? interior optics,? exterior moldings, trim etc that really make an impact on the experience?

Well, first off congrats! As for the GS, they were released in 2017. They are pretty much the same in 2017/18/19, maybe just some color options, collector's editions.

The engine is the same in all the GSs, you are mainly selecting the transmission, 7 speed manual or 8 speed auto and trim level, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT and possibly other options that came ordered on the car. If you like to drive a manual I would highly recommend it in this car, it is excellent. You can look at the Chevy website for all the specifics on the the GS options and trim levels.

Falcon summed it up nicely. OP, good luck in your search. If you find one and have questions feel free to ask them here. There's a ton of knowledge, and experience on this forum. Welcome

Yeah, I'm pretty excited. Just want to be sure I get the right one. I've waited a long time for this! Thanks.

My only suggestion would be a marriage at the local Justice-of-the-Peace.

I recommend to just take your time and research to fine the right one, there's deals out there.
I've had three daughters marry over the last 6 years, so I feel your wallet's pain.
Good luck on your GS and the wedding.

My suggestion would be to secretly give her $1,000 and tell her to elope...

On edit: I suggest you start spending hours on here reading through the threads so that you can get sufficiently acquainted with all the options and their pros/cons.

I do understand getting what you want. So, be patient, educate yourself, do your due diligence, and that will help you in the process. As stated www.chevrolet. com is a great asset. Use their "build and price" configurator. The site also has a "compare" section to help you see the options on the different trim levels.
