How do these dyno #'s look?
Got the car back a few weeks ago and just now wanted to post the numbers up. Here is a list of mods:
2017 C7 GS M7
Vararam CAI
Tony Mamo ported TB
Kooks catless Xpipe
Kooks headers
My baseline already had the CAI and ported TB and that put down 422. After the tune and headers put down 447/462. Tuner said the last bare bones stock C7 put down 393. So figure around 50hp gain from all those mods + tune. Picked up 25hp from headers, xpipe, tune.
Sound about right? Was expecting a little more but I could be delusional. He says his dyno is about 10hp less than other dynos. The gains itself I thought would be a bit more.

"Was expecting a little more..." Remember this is at the rear wheels. Do a quick, rough adjustment for at the crank... maybe, that's more like you expected?
Yes, different dynos AND different operators get different numbers, for many reasons.

Those are great numbers , and remember a dyno is just a tool used for measurements and you will get different readings caused by differences in dyno to dyno, weather conditions and even dyno calibrations.....the true test is at the track.......

Alright well as long as that sounds right. I heard a tune on these cars doesn't really pick up a whole lot. I remember the older cars and motors a tune made a world of difference. I guess with the technology and newer motors there isn't much to gain from a simple tune. I guess I was expecting about a 70hp gain from headers, xpipe, tune, CAI, and ported TB but I guess 50-55 is more realistic.

I've got that and now I'm trying to figure out what I want to do. I wanted power but not overheat on road racing tracks. Is a supercharger even possible? Cams kill durability and drive ability?
