Default Mirror, mirror

so the passenger side mirror started shaking when driving, the glass feels loose, wants to move in when you wash it. Oh it’s a 2018 stingray, 6,000 mi. So I took it to the dealer today, he says GM just handed down a must be approved first notice before it’s covered on warr. Seems there’s some issues they won’t cover. He couldn’t tell me what they are, mine is the first one to come in with any mirror issues. Turns out it wasn’t snapped in on all four pins, easy fix. It could of fell out and made a mess on my paint somewhere. Any one else heard of this?

No, but you sound fortunate to have caught yours in time, and to have had such a simple fix.

I read a post here a few years ago that someone's mirror popped out of the socket. I think it was just popped back in. It must be a rare occurrence.

Have not heard of anyone else experiencing this issue, glad you caught it early and it was a simple fix.
