There is NO WAY GM is going to let this Plant sit there using only 27% of Capacity—-add to that the bundle they just spent refurbishing the Plant...
Yes Corvette is probably there biggest money maker based on Return but Economics Say “WHAT IS COMING IN TO THAT PLANT????????????......H

Electric only Corvettes, with no steering wheel or other driver controls.
I for one would jump at the chance to buy a Corvette with the drivetrain out of my P100D. It would be twice as fast (for 1/10th as long at a track, mind you) on the street and feel four times as fast due to the traction. It just wouldn't make any sound. But it would be an EPIC BLAST to zip around in. The Tesla is already way more fun on the street than the Z, because the Z has no traction.
I remember everyone bawling till their eyes were red about EFI and the carb going away. Then the M7/A8 wars. If you like old cars, there's lots of them around.

There has to be another car or two to be assembled at BG unless they start building the C8 by hand.
And the plant tours at BG are shut down why? Harvey, nice to see you chime in, hope you are well. We know whatever it is they are working on, you'll be at the top of the list for one.
