After seeing the 2018/19 ZR1 frontend, I want one for my 2016 stingray. Anyone out there know of an after Market company making a custom front end for the C7???

Don't make your stingray look like a model it is not. If you want the distinct look of the ZR1, buy a ZR1 don't make a poser copy.
If he puts ZR1 badges on his Stingray, that's being a poser.
If he buys an aftermarket front fascia that he likes better than the stock fascia that's just being a 'car guy'.
I agree. To me a "poser" is an owner who mis-represents his car as something else than what it really is. Everything else is just customized mods.
There was an earlier post about an owner of a Grand Sport who modified it for serious track use with a tune, suspension upgrade, full cage, etc. and then added a ZR1-like rear wing that connected to the frame of the car to improve downforce, etc. Guys called him a "poser" for the wing which made me laugh. Here was a guy getting full use of his Grand Sport and driving it like it was meant to be driven and there were guys who owned a ZR1 and never intend to track it or drive it beyond their local cars and coffee waxing events giving him a hard time. Amazing.
As to the aftermarket ZR1 fascia, I like the looks of some of the molds, however I'm waiting to see if there are some good cooling mods, multiple radiators, etc. that can make the mold functional as well.
I was reading the ZR1 forum and some owners are pointing out that the track rubber and debris is damaging the front wheel well vents which then damages the new extra cooling radiators which are installed on the other side.

That front end is designed to fit the functional parts underneath. Lacking those parts, why bother? I think that investigating functional mods is the way to go here, as you seem to suggest.

Yep. I wouldn't put it on just for looks, but if a vendor can match up the extra cooling components with the additional fascia vents, it might be worth investigating. Personally, I wish GM would have just made the single opening wider, similar to the C7R for both the Z06 and ZR1 to help with the extra heat of the LT4/LT5.

If people only did mods that had real performance or functional improvements there'd be a helluva lot of plain stock cars and a lot of companies out of business.....most aftermarket intakes and exhaust systems do little more than add some sound and/or looks and that's pretty much the first mods on most people's list.
Intresting.... What does that tell us, that there is good design and not so good:???... Kinda like getting a contractor to design a house when you SHOULD get an Architect!
