Will added Sway Bars better the handling without creating a harsher ride? (Base Stingray)
yes for sure as long as you get the front & rear bar to match up to each other. If I were you I would first try to find a used set of front & rear from a Z51 car. If you cant get a set from LG motorsports that will do what you are looking to do in the car as to what kind of driving you will be doing.
But the bigger the stiffer the ride.. But your car really needs a rear on the car if you do any kind of curve roads at any type of speeds at all.. Robert
One of the first mods I did to mine was add Z51 sway bars to front and rear. I am surprised the base model had no rear sway bar as the rear tended to float a bit. Now she is firmly planted front and rear. I did it myself and the parts were about $300 for complete kit with everything you need.
Well worth it. You will notice a distinct difference; especially on freeway on-off ramps. You will also notice a difference in highway driving. The car feels more planted at speed. Hard to believe the base model doesn't come with a rear sway bar, at least in 15 it didn't. Maybe they have added it as they should in the newer models?
I added both front and rear and it helped but I was not happy until I also added the shocks off the Z51.. With the shocks you know every bump in the road

Our Sway Bars have a very slight affect on ride quality, and a massive improvement in cornering. If you are looking for something a bit more pocketbook friendly I have 30 or so sets of C7 take off Sway Bars. Feel free to give us a call or shoot me a PM.
