I think it will give you Nav but also CarPlay and Android Auto along with Mirroring. But I believe you lose a few things in the process like Engine Management Control and steering wheel buttons.
NavTool gives you the capability to install both front and side view cameras. You need to buy the cameras separately. I purchased one on Amazon for front view. It cost about $25 and is working flawlessly. NavTool also provides the capability to mirror your smartphone. I have an Android phone, and I mirror Waze on my screen. I have not lost any functionality that I am aware of. Steering wheel buttons and engine management work fine after NavTool installation. NavTool was the best add-on I installed on my 2015 Corvette. Those of us involved in the initial roll out had problems with the supplier, but once they got their act together, they provided an excellent product. By the way, the front view camera works like the factory cameras on models after 2016.
Thanks, im not looking to add cameras, i just want it to have it display navigation which i dont have on my 15 1lt
i definitely dont want to lose engine management or streeing wheel button controls
how crazy is the install without doing cameras just for navigation

You won't lose anything that you don't currently have. It simply gives you the option to add cameras to the car which IMHO are indispensable if you have a splitter or want to save the front of the car from damage. The camera is $20 and much cheaper than the option to get one on the car OEM. The entire install can be done, in your garage, in 3 or 4 hours of time consuming, but easy, work. You keep the rear camera and can add 2 side cameras and a front camera. I wanted the front camera. Navtool will mirror your iPhone so you can have NAV. I was one of the first to get it installed and functioning. It was worth every penny for the good stuff it added to the 2014 car.

You can also mirror Android phones. I have done this, and it works well.
What mirroring capabilities are provided with Navtool regarding manipulation of the application ie. does the infotainment screen allow for movement of maps, pinching, adding destinations by touching screen, entering destinations by typing on screen ... essentially transferring all functionality you normally have on the android screen to the cars infotainment screen?
Does the audio feed through the vehicles sound system? Can you play radio and have navigation instruction "interupt" radio to provide directional advice? ... or are the audio questions asking TOO much?
I would be installing on a 2014 2lt z51 automatic and using Google maps on a Samsung S5 running Android 6.0

Thanx for any info,

Whatever is on your phone screen you see on the NAV screen. You cannot manipulate the NAV screen, just your phone.
Yes you can play the radio.
Yes, I've taken phone calls while driving and the NAVtool is functional.
Yes, I've played music off the SD Card.
I only added the front camera and the HDMI cord connection for the screen mirroring. If you were using the google maps, what you see on your phone, you see on the screen.
Thank you for the reply. I wasn't able to get these details from other locations.
I am considering the upgrade of the human machine interface [HMI] in order to get Android Auto (as well as navigation) but runs around $1100. BUT not sure if that upgrade would do what I was inquiring about either. The Navtool is much less costly and also would allow the cameras.
