1991 Ford Taurus! I like to forget about that though and skip ahead about a year when I bought a 95 C4. And then I like to forget about roughly the year after THAT when I learned quickly how issue prone C4s are. (It saw 8 months in repairs and 4 months driving.)

I believe it's still my profile pic though. Fun car.

The V6 was most certainly a significant upgrade (and after they fixed the disasters of the first year releases LOL)

Still love them!

Bought a 1970 Monte Carlo SS from a friend of may dad's in 1981. Had it about 1 year
when I was driving home from chopping weeds down in bean fields. Came up to an
intersection in the country that had tree's on one side of the road. Was probably going around
50 when out from the tree's came a kid on his bicycle.

Slid the car sideways and hit him with the right rear quarter. Sent the kid and his bike flying through
air. After I stopped I got out to check on him, laying there unconscious when he let out a scream
that almost made me "soil" myself. Ran to a neighbors house and told them to call the ambulance.
Long story short, he had a bruised ankle and a bump on the melon. Surprised he didn't crack his skull open
as the top edge of the roof was dented in also. My car was totaled. I had no camera then
so no pictures. I was congratulated though for my driving as I could have hit him head on and the
outcome would have been, well, bad.

that’s just about identical to mine. I had the dura-flex front bumper too. I heard from a good friend, that a few months after the guy bought my Camaro, he totaled it in Columbus, in the summer of ‘76. my friend saw it in a junk yard. your z/28 is beautiful!!!

1965 VW Beetle. 40 hp, hopped it up with a Porsche 2 barrel carb, intake and exhaust headers and an EMPI low-flow exhaust. That gave a 17 hp boost...a screaming 57 hp!!!

1974 Camaro LT bought in October 1975. I later swapped the motor out to a LT1 motor out of a '70 Z28, put headers on it and raced it Brooklyn.

1967 Camaro when I was 17. Those were fun times. Still have the Camaro 30 year later. It's parked right next to my 2017 Corvette Grand Sport Z07. They are quite the pair, both red with white stripes.

Dang it, wouldn't you know it. I don't have a picture of them together. I just got the Grand Sport this last summer, and now the Camaro is on the lift and apart for a new clutch and the Corvette is all covered up for the winter in a different garage bay. Looks like I'll have to get on getting a picture of the two when the weather clears up this next year.
