What is the best outdoor cover? What is your opinion on this RPI outdoor cover? Thanks

FWIW, you have many choices.
My comment is wind.
a) Securing the cover to the vehicle so wind doesn't
lift, scratch & slap the cover against the paint
would be my concern.
b) Some may comment about trapped moisture, which
personally I would not be too concerned about.
Good luck in your decision.

It looks very good for today's fabrics but the thicker the material I'd say the better to prevent against hail if that's even a worry. I guess it does depend on how long the car cover is going to be outdoors: a year, a few years, longer? I've used the Evolutions and Sunbrella materials in the distant past---all get very heavy when wet and "leak" dampness through the fabric, as will this one you're looking at.. ("...that is guaranteed to protect your Corvette with its water-resistant...")
No matter what, Kenny is right about keeping it on the car. I've had about 4 different models and eventually the elastic sides and ends wears down. You need to "tie it down" with those grommet holes. Yes, it makes it difficult to remove and not a breeze to put on, but it's worth NOT seeing it fly off and chasing it! If you go this cover (or any) route and use it outdoors give me a shout and I'll send you a method I've used to keep it from flying off using the grommets and a coated-wire cable and lock.

After years of trying different covers (I don't have a garage), hands down for me - the Ultraguard Plus Car Cover.

I'm looking for the best outdoor car cover too. I'm not concerned about wind due to location, but I want something that will protect the car against rain, hail and small falling branches/acorns/animals.
I'm a big believer in you get what you pay for but.... my question is weather the most expensive car cover (WeatherTech) is worth it (2-3x the price at least) compared with the Ultraguard or some other cheaper alternative?
Anyone with experience?

The RPI cover looks very similar (if not identical) to the one I use but the RPI cover has a better warranty & is cheaper than what I paid for mine on Amazon. I've been really happy with my cover. It fits like a glove, it goes on/off easily, & it has held up fine to some very heavy rain storms & high winds. It doesn't flap around in the wind at all & I don't ever tie it down.

Thanks to everyone that responded I ordered this one from Amazon sold by West Coast Corvettes.
I have a garage for my vette but need to put it outside when I decide to work on my bike.

Great. Sounds like for the amount of time it's being used outside you won't need special hold-down procedures to keep the cover on per oneslacker.
