Does any one know if the z06 hood is the same as the hood on a z51?
There is a aftermarket hood side vent
addation to mod a z06 hood and the maker does not know if it will fit on a z51...

A factory Z06 hood will absolutely fit on a non-Z06 C7, so in theory the aftermarket hood should also fit on a non-Z06 C7 unless they altered the design to a point where there is an issue. I'm surprised that the manufacturer of the aftermarket hood wouldn't for certain since, after all, they should be subject matter experts on hoods and they are potentially losing out on sales that could be marketed towards non-Z06 C7 owners.

Looks like your just asking about side vents, not the entire hood. Whether the vent fits or not depends on size and placement. In all likelihood, they’ll fit or be close enough that they require minimal massaging. Without specifics however, there are no guarantees.

but if the center is taller on a z06 then they most like7will not work as curvature is diffrent ... i almost would like to get a white z06 hood any way !

Z hoods pop up in the For Sale section from time to time. Lowest I recall is $1500 to >$2000. Depends on color and if it has the exposed carbon fiber

I agree plus anyone looking at these for a z06 I think it was some what a PITA cause you had to cut a piece out from under your hood to get these to line up & bolted into place.. Robert
