Will your C7 last a month without a trickle charger?

I have ten cars in my garage, and the Z06 convertible is pretty low on the list of "things to drive today" on a rainy December in Seattle. It's my DD in June, not so much in the winter.
Never can understand the people that run up a ton of depreciating mileage by driving their convertible sports cars in rainy weather ;-)

It's depreciating whether it gets driven or not. It's production car, not some rare, handmade exotic. Very few (probably none) of us alive now will see them ever start to appreciate in value, and with all the electronics nowadays, you might as well drive them now while replacement parts are still available.
p.s. they don't melt or shrink in the wet, and ten cars? Good on you! Most of us can't afford to let them sit idle in the garage. Right now, having one more Vette than driver or room in a two car garage is an odd feeling.

When I got my '18 base car 15 months ago and hadn't gotten the "official" charger yet, and winter weather hit, mine was off the street for a month a time--twice. No issues, but it was almost new and I suspect the battery like-wise.
(btw, it is an M7, always parked in R with the parking brake disengaged while in the garage--ever had a parking-brake stick? ).

I put away my '19 in October and probably won't drive it again until the first of May. I have a battery tender or what ever you want to call it on it and will until I start driving again next Spring.

I have had my 2017 Stingray for almost two years now and leave the "battery tender" hooked up whenever it is in the garage. I drive it once a week if the weather is decent, but have never gone much more than 2 weeks without taking it for a spin.
These cars have a lot of electronics, so you know that there must be some parasitic drain on their batteries.

Melting Slicks
I have used Deltran Battery Tender for over 30 years and have never had any problems. I just got a Deltran wireless battery monitor and can check on the battery in my C7 with a app on my phone.

If my 15 sits for more than a week, I use my CTEK battery tender. Battery is going on 4 yrs old and I am starting to be aware of its remaining life.

Mine won't. Just curious what others experience when not driving theirs. Only accessory I have is a V1 which is off when the car is off.
In the olden' days you could use "less" power when dormant buy putting the stick cars in reverse, or so some people claimed, don't know if its true. But if there's any way to reduce demand when parked, please let me know!

I would not push it more but some have. The trans issue was for an older Vette, C7 makes no difference. In fact the C7 shuts down about everything electrical in ~10 minutes even if you leave a light on.
The issue with the C7 is the computer controls charging rate to save enery. Hard to get it to 100% charge unless on a really long drive. I replaced my 2014 C7 battery in 3 years. Will do the same with the Grand Sport and get an AGM replacement. Real PIA to replace the C7 battery and would not want to do it when it might be needed in the winter or would never want a AAA person to jump or for sure they will rip the carpet. Reports that dealer techs have ripped it. Although not in the owners or service manuals I pop the rear clips on the passenger plastic wheel well cover before I pull out the unbound carpet!

I’d say 2-3 weeks tops is all I would feel comfortable with without having the car on a charger.

NCM guy told me one month, and mine had already gotten weak in the 3 weeks the NCM had it.

Well that's pretty typical and its about what I was expecting. Assuming that's true (probably is) then in theory, these cars should sit around for three, four and five months at a time. Something more must be happening that no one has picked up on or something.

Long story short, I think my takeaway is "try Transport mode to see if does much", and "If it's more than 2 weeks, put the tender on". Thanks all!

40ma times 24 hours is 960 mah. Close enough to 1000 which is 1 ah per day. That’s 30 ah per month.

Why worry about it? I would only give it consideration if the car was remotely parked and not in a spot to hook up the C-Tek. In that case you worry about temperature and length of time. Since I don't "leave" the car anywhere so it sits isolated, like an airport, the length of time until the next start doesn't affect me.
I drive the car most every day. Each time I park in my garage, I plug the C-Tek up to the magnetic plug I have in my grill. The battery is constantly maintained and topped off every night. My OEM went 4 years before it "slow started". It was immediately replaced when that happened.
