C7 project

I bought this low miles ZO6 with the paint completely failed. Seems someone chromed it and then shot red over the top. Paint came off with a pressure washer and some work, I dismantled the car for my painter and he went to work. Concrete grey was used, the exterior is just about done. Next comes a cam and headers and she will be done.

How in the world are you going to act? I, for one, would have liked to have seen, "... chromed it and then shot red over the top." I have visions of a "ratrod-esque" Z!

It was a partial wrap and then painted. Who buys a Z06/07 and spends over 10k on a paint job that fails and then dumps the car at auction? My guess is a drug dealer but I didn’t find out much about original owner.
