Corvette Tax
Not so bad as you might have thought.
Bugatti's is tough.
From Car and Driver edited: The intake manifold is sold in three pieces, with the upper portions for each bank coming in at $4,000 a piece, while the lower intake manifold costs $2,000. Labor to replace it is listed as being $1,800. In comparison, one for something a little more common like the Corvette C7 is $220.

If you can afford the car, you can afford the maintenance/repair.

Personally I don't get all the whining about "Corvette Tax", never have. Corvettes are and have been for years the best value for sportscar dollar spent on the planet. So anyone who can't afford one including what it cost to maintain it without whining, perhaps buy something else.
