Have you added anything new to the car recently, such as things plugged into the USB jacks or outlet?
I think I'm losing my mind, but it seems my fob doesn't work when it is in the pocket with my money clip, which has a magnet. In the pocket with the phone, no problem.

Many things can cause interference; magnets, phones, security systems, fluorescent lights.... the list goes on, and will be updated frequently as new sources are identified.

It is the logical way to narrow down the issue. Personally, I'm with Lisa. You got 2 batteries that were crap out of the package.
Follow the steps and you'll get the car running. Don't follow the steps and you can guess your way through the crisis.
