Owners of C7 Manual transmission Convertibles chime in.
Seems now days, that very few buy a Corvette Convertible with a manual transmission. Almost impossible to find one in stock at even the large volume dealers. So, I would like to hear from C7 owners of all 4 models that have one.

I don't have a convertible, but do have 2017 GS M7. I think less than 25% of Corvettes are manuals, so that was one of the primary reasons I ordered one just the way I wanted it. I love the 7-speed w/ARM (rev match). Hitting 5th at redline has been a little difficult for me due to the extra 7th gear gate, but then again I don't do 150 MPH very often. Rev Match is by far my favorite feature of the M7; the downshifts sound so wicked. If you don't mind rolling through the gears, I would highly recommend getting an M7 and would seriously look at ordering the car. The M7 is a bit of a pain in rush hour traffic, but I always get over it. I did install the CAGS eliminator to defeat the forced 1-4 shift which was a major pain in traffic. A lot of guys will tell you to just speed up to 21 MPH before shifting to bypass the 1-4 shift, but that doesn't work well in some situations.

I have a Z51 and love it! Guess we are a rare breed! Guess the C8 will not have a manual or convertible so that will make these cars harder to come by.

Both of my C7s have been (are?) M7 coupes. Wouldn't have it any other way

I ordered mine purposely with a manual due to the fact that the A8 has to many complaints of chatter from their owners. Also coming from a Hellcat with a ZF auto that banged out shifts with no noticable delay that I am sure our A8 could not replicate that experience.Had we been offered the ZF transmission in our Corvettes,I probably would have opted for the auto.

I have a GS vert, initially wanted a M7, however as you say, couldn't find a M7 Vert with the color combo/options I wanted, so settled on an A8. Ironically, now I'm glad I went with the A8.
Not really surprising M7s are hard to fine as only 18% of the US driving public can operate a manual trans according to a US News & World Report article. Makes sense GM produces so few, somewhere around 23% of total I believe.

I have a 2014 Z51, 3LT with an M7. It's white with a red interior and black top. To me a sports car is meant to be a vert. with a manual transmission.

The love of the iconic Corvette convertible did not escape me. It was exactly what I wanted. An Old School Arctic White 2017 Corvette convertible, equipped with the M7, 3LT and Jet Black interior. I'm thoroughly pleased after buying it brand new, in-State, (Texas) @ nearly a -20% off MSRP to boot!

I love my 2017 Z51 2 Lt M7 convertible. It took me awhile to find one in my area but I did with 4 miles on it. I read somewhere that 2300 Z51 convertibles were made in 2017 and only 94 were M7’s.

Here's a pic of me (using my best "The Thinker" pose) making the deal back on April 24th 2014. There was no thinking on which Red vert was going to be mine (the other one to the right was an A6); it had to be an M7 for me, and I believe this was the only M7, vert they had in their stock for a long time (a lot of M7 coupes were available). This was also a time when dealer discounts were rare and I was able to get $2000 off MSRP; I presumed it was because they didn't have many looking for a vert with an M7. So, yes, a rare sight for sure.
