Default Jacking pucks

I have not yet purchased jacking pucks for my C7. My question is how many pucks do owners typically have and carry? I see they can be purchased singularly, in pairs or sets of 4.
Is there a particular brand you might suggest?
Thanks Much
Tom

Haven't got mine yet, but how many you buy will depend on how you plan to jack the car and if you want to leave the pucks permanent or not.

If you get the ones that stay in, you might as well get 4.

If not, and you use a manual trolley jack you only need one.

Talk with Fred at ReverseLogic. He is a forum vendor. He sells pucks that many here use and are very well made. I believe they are sold individually. How many you buy depends on your setup. If you lift on a 4 post lift then get 4. If you just use a floor jack to put either the front or rear up on stands then just get 2.

I had a set of jacking pucks on my C5 that were from BMW. They fit the C7 and work just fine with my floor jack. They can be left on the car so I keep the four pucks installed all the time.

I have the Reverse Logic ones and bought 4 in case I need to jack all 4 points. They're $16.35 each if you buy 4, and free shipping. These are pretty cool because you can leave the spacer in, just insert it in the slot, and turn it a quarter turn. Or you can remove the spacer and tighten it up after inserting it in the slot to temporarily install them while you drive it to the mechanic. Remove them when you get home. I love mine.

See link below. You don't need the extra tall ones. I have the GS with side skirts and they clear just fine.

I have the Reverse Logic as well and I also purchased (4) as even though you may only need (1) or (2) if you use a floor jack at home, you never know when you may brake down and the repair shop you are towed to may need to use a (4) post lift. I agree with Zjoe6, you don't need the 'extra tall'.
I always keep (4) in my trunk cubby just in case, along with my "V" tow strap.

I need those tow straps. Where did you get those again?

Another vote for Fred at Reverse Logic. I carry four extended jack pucks, his 3 pack lug bolt guides and the v-bridle (link below) in the trunk cubby hole. I also put the OEM tow hook in the empty space for it in the battery compartment.

The v-bridle is available here:
