I have a 2019 z06 Watkins Glen Grey with red interior (2lz) and black wheels. This is exactly the color combination I wanted and custom ordered the car. However, I know feel the car is too dark and you don’t see some of the features of the car. Think a torch red car with black vents, that is a nice look because of the contrast.
I am am considering replacing my hood and side vents with torch red parts. Has anyone tried this? Any thoughts?
My thoughts; WGG and red is a very nice color combination which would be completely ruined by torch red side vents and hood. If you want to add contrast you might consider torch red GS tag stripes and/or a torch red stinger to the hood or full hood/top/rear torch red striping. I have seen these stripe solutions on WGG C7s and look very nice.
Good luck!

I agree with the previous two posts. I own a '19 WGG GS with black wheels, red brake calipers, an 1 LT interior with red seats. The above striping suggestion might be something to consider.
If you want to add some red to the exterior - why not add those strips that go around the rims? With a dark car, and back rims, that would add some contrast. Also, if you want...chrome rims add a really nice contrast. I bought my 14 in grey and it had black wheels...and I didn't like the dark car, dark wheels and black tires - just too much dark. I added chrome wheels and the car really popped after that...I think it transformed the car into looking totally different but judge for yourself (and please lets not turn this into a black wheel vs chrome wheel argument):

Yeah I’ll explore stripes

Thanks for the feedback

Try a stripe or something
Yep. I didn’t expect such a strong reaction from everyone

I agree with wheel accents, I have a WGG GSCE and I have gotten blue pinstripe and done the outer edges of the wheel and found some finger nail polish that matches the tension blue and filled in the Corvette lettering in the wheel and then laid some finger nail polish clear over it.

IMHO, the stripe should extend forward of the hood vent to the fangs. It looks incomplete as is
Perhaps, though I don't believe it looks bad as is. The red gives the WWG a nice unique look which isn't easy to achieve with all the C7s out there and limited number of factory colors. Just a red stinger would look good IMO if C7 has red calipers and red interior.

Not a fan... WGG is understated, and IMO any additions should complement that theme and the overall look of the car, while blaring red stripes do exactly the opposite... Not a fan of stripes in general, but was thinking something like these might change my mind....
