Is it Spring yet? How is the weather in your neck of the woods?

64 degrees and pouring rain yesterday, 21 degrees and light snow with a nice coating of ice. Central New York, the only place where you can experience all 4 seasons in one day. And, no, spring is a way off right about now, Late April maybe??

Was sunny and got up to about 50* today. So far, only a few really cold days this month and really no snowfall.

When I went to Oswego for college, one of the reasons was I wanted to go where winter actually existed - downstate where I lived had lame wimp winters. I was amazed at life with real winter - and loved it. Life being what it is, living in downstate was what happened because my jobs were all city-centric. Retirement will put us back to places where winter exists - new England or Colorado. Always have dad's place in Jupiter FL if we need a break. So even with wimp winters, the Vette only goes out once every two weeks - cold takes the bite out of the tires. But it gives me something to look forward to come spring instead of the inevitable yard work and the chore of trying to keep the growing stuff in check. And those first spirited rides in the spring with the top down are always special. Like I just got a new car. So for now its log on the fire...and we are happy with that. Living without seasons to us would be a drag.

There's nothing like looking out of the window of a warm house onto blanket of snow covering everything in sight. And the absolute stillness outside (I guess depending where you are) can be eery. I love it!

To be honest, Mother Nature has been very generous to the south eastern Michigan area this year, especially compared to 2017. The weather's warmer, and it's only raining when it's not cold enough to snow. Today is mostly cloudy and about 34 degrees. I'm hearing that Friday is going to flirt with the 50 degree mark...and anyone who lives out here will tell you, that's an extreme rarity this time of year. Random thoughts:
That's Ceramic Matrix Gray, right?
- Last year, I wanna say we had a big snowstorm (4-8 inches), and it was pretty much between 5-15 degrees going into the New Year with wind chill factor hitting sub zero temperatures.
- I'm hoping this is buying road crews enough time to finish the I-696 project, which should've been done by November but was plagued with delays. This includes a strike, and redoing specific areas because portions of the west bound side was not up to code
That's Ceramic Matrix Gray, right?

I took mine out today for a 40 mile cruise! It was 30 degrees, roads were dry so I went for it! Enjoyed every minute of it. Supposed to be light snow tonight so I can't imagine I'll get anymore nice days like today to cruise again until spring.

Balmy lower 40s here in Nebraska, today. Took the C7 vette out for a little drive today. Sunny and very nice for this time of year. Looking forward to spring. Later this week does not sound too good, rain and snow.

Too busy with home, family, football and Holiday meals to take the Corvette vert out today. Was a sunny 60°. Perfect convertible weather here for late December. 65° later in week.
