Default Maintenance Schedule

I have a 2015 Z51 M7 that's just over 40k miles. I was wondering if anyone follows this maintenance schedule or what type of maintenance I should be doing considering my mileage? Does everyone follow the schedule from the manual?

I figure that GM knows better than me when things should be changed, so I follow it fairly close.

Just remember there is also a time component. You can't always just go by mileage.

Absolutely follow the official maintenance schedule...Drives me nuts when I go in for a scheduled maintenance visit and the dealer tries to upsale me on some service not needed at the time....

Why NOT follow the Manual, unless you decide to do it more frequently?

Sure, at ~40,000 would do all that it indicates accept since I use the Ranger Method and change enough clutch fluid every oil change would leave that but definitely brake, trans and dif fluids.

Cabin air filters are inexpensive and easy to chage so I do that periodically. I have an oiled cotton air filter so clean it more often than indicated as well.

Of course you should follow your car's maintenance schedule. That said, it's a rare occurrence that anyone does follow it to the letter. Many are ignoring the advisories completely I've noticed.
