I just ordered some new wheels for spring and summer and need to order the TPMS sensors for them, but there a lot of them listed on Amazon. Which ones do I need or should get for my 17 Z51? I'm using my OEM wheels as winter shoes.
I'm another guy with summer & winter Z51 tire setups.
There are GM dealers who sell parts on the internet, the prices are comparable to Amazon (if the Amazon stuff is genuine) and they will know the correct part numbers if you give them your VIN. Our local dealer gives club members a good price break, I bought my extra sensors from them and didn't have to worry about getting the correct ones. Should also have a 1 year warranty depending on who installed them.
I'm sure I could have saved a few bucks, but decided the questions weren't worth the hassle.
Just bought them today for a new set of a Forgelines I’m having mounted and balanced.
TPMS sensor doesn’t come with kit, i.e gasket and nut...GM mentality....
You dont have to buy these really expensive aluminum pieces. Just search for other GM TPMS with 433Mhz. They come with the black rubber end instead and are much cheaper and read the same.
